Semitron® PAI Family of Products
Semitron® PAI is a portfolio of polyamide imide materials developed for extremely demanding applications in semiconductor and electronic device manufacturing, such as high voltage ranges, high temperatures, and vacuum chamber applications requiring high levels of ionic purity. Each product offers the exceptional mechanical and thermal properties of PAI, with special formulations to meet the stringent purity and voltage requirements of semiconductor manufacturing. From resisting dielectric breakdown and voltages ranging from 100V to 1000V, to low rates of outgassing and erosion in plasma chambers, Semitron® PAI outlast and out-perform other materials used in the semiconductor and electronics industry.

Duratron® PBI Family of Products
Duratron® PBI is the highest performance engineering thermoplastic available today. It offers the highest heat resistance and mechanical property retention over 205 °C (400 °F) of any unfilled plastic. It has better wear resistance and load carrying capabilities at extreme temperatures than any other engineering plastc, reinforced or not. As an unreinforced material, Duratron® PBI is very "clean" in terms of ionic impurity and it does not outgas (except water). These characteristics make this material very attractive to semiconductor manufacturers for vacuum chamber applications. Duratron® PBI has excellent ultrasonic transparency which makes it an ideal choice for parts such as probe tip lenses in ultrasonic measuring equipment. Duratron® PBI is also an excellent thermal insulator. Other plastics in melt do not stick to it making it ideal for contact seals and insulator bushings in plastic production and molding equipment.

Duratron® PI Family of Products
Duratron® PI (polyimide) stock shapes and direct formed parts are made from robust polyimide resins for demanding applications where exceptional thermal resistance, low wear and low friction, strength and impact resistance are required. Duratron® PI offers properties that help to overcome sealing, friction, and wear challenges, that can endure high temperature and stands up to the harsh operating environments of the aerospace, transportation, and industrial applications.  Duratron® PI is an exceptional value for applications requiring high strength, stability, and load-bearing capabilities in extreme temperatures over a long service life.  Duratron® PI is available in several grades for structural and wear applications and in the broadest range of shapes - particularly thick sheets, larger sheets geometries and heavy-wall tubes.
Duratron® PAI Family of Products
Duratron® PAI is a family of the highest performing, melt processable plastics, characterized by superior resistance to elevated temperatures. These plastic grades are capable of performing under severe stress conditions at continuous temperatures to 260 °C (500 °F). Parts machined from Duratron® PAI stock shapes provide greater compressive strength and higher impact resistance than most advanced engineering plastics. An amorphous material with a Tg (glass transition temperature) of 537°F (280°C), Duratron® PAI's extremely low coefficient of linear thermal expansion and high creep resistance deliver excellent dimensional stability over its entire service range. A post-curing cycle is sometimes recommended for components fabricated from extruded shapes where optimization of chemical resistance and/or wear performance is required. For large shapes or custom geometries like tubular bar, compression molded Duratron® PAI shapes offer designers the greatest economy and flexibility.

Common applications of Duratron® PAI products include electrical connectors, bearing cages, mandrels, chip nests and sockets, and labyrinth seals.
