Altron™ 1000 Polycarbonate PC shapes are produced from select batches of non-UV stabilized polycarbonate resin that complies with EU and FDA regulations, for plastics intended to come into contact with food products. This grade in particular is a transparent, amorphous thermoplastic that offers superior impact strength and elasticity, minimal moisture absorption, and outstanding resistance to acidic solutions.
